Abstract
This Update Alert summarizes the impact of new evidence from a surveillance search relevant to clinical advice presented in the American College of Physicians (ACP) living, rapid practice points on outpatient treatment of confirmed COVID-19 in adults after the emergence of the SARS-CoV-2 Omicron variant (version 2). The ACP Center for Evidence Reviews at Cochrane Austria identified 9 newly published studies that met the inclusion criteria of the surveillance search between 2 March (last search date for version 2 of the living, rapid evidence review) and 15 November 2023. These studies inform practice points 1 and 2; no newly identified studies provided data for practice points 3 or 4 or for other treatments of interest. The Center for Evidence Reviews will continue surveillance of the new evidence.
