Abstract
Virtual eye surgery (VES) simulation training in ophthalmic graduate medical education (GME) improves trainee cataract surgery skills and reduces the surgical learning curve. Herein we surveyed ophthalmology program directors (PDs) to determine the role of VES simulation training in U.S. ophthalmic GME.
