Abstract

A microaggression is a comment or an action that subtly and often unconsciously or unintentionally expresses a prejudiced attitude toward a member of a marginalized group (such as a racial minority). Microaggressions can be seen in all aspects of society in everyday life. As members of the Association of Program Directors in Radiology and/or the ACR Diversity Committee, we want to raise awareness about microaggressions in everyday practice and in our radiology literature.
