DataShare: Lessons from the Field

Abstract

Julia Kochi, MILS, is the Director, Collections and User Services at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) Library & Center for Knowledge Management. This presentation is an overview of DataShare, a tool for UCSF researchers to share research data sets with the global community, including: functionality, publicity and marketing, case studies, lessons learned, and next steps.
