The molecular dissection of the mammalian circadian clock continues to yield exciting and important discoveries. Here we review the recent progress in the field, highlighting work on the central clock mechanism itself, the photopigments involved in the entrainment of the central clock by light, and the signals that entrain peripheral oscillators.Permanent Link to this Item
