This news story is about UMass Medical School alumnus Raghu Kiran Appasani, MD, SOM '18, who addressed the United Nations General Assembly in New York City to help launch the United for Global Mental Health campaign. Appansani participated as a medical student in the Senior Scholars research program at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. His project was "The PRANA Study: A Formative Evaluation for Suicide Prevention Efforts in Gujurat, India."Source
